Statik Selektah’s latest “Expensive Taste” arrives with the kind of refined plating that makes ordinary beats look cheap by comparison. Soulful and jazzy chops and precise drum work give the huge cast space to cook and the mix of established names with hungry spitters keeps the menu balanced. It feels like a proper sit down instead of a quick snack.
