Fresh album “The Chauncey Hollis Project II” has Hit-Boy treating the whole thing like a focused lab session across nine mostly boom bap tracks and the single digit length feels right for a quick run. Some sections sound interchangeable while others land clean but some will definitely think it’s not that much of a major step forward for him.
